• Three distinguished personalities honored
BRAHMAPUR,21/5 (ABHIJIT KAR): The 28th foundation ceremony of ‘VJ Info’ was celebrated with great pomp and show at Gayatri Conference Hall. The function held on Thursday evening was graced by the chief guest, Shri Dr. Saroj Kumar Das, Assistant Registrar of Berhampur University, while Shri Dr. Atulya Kumar Patnaik was the guest of honour and made a major contribution and encouraged the students. The director of the institution, Surya Narayan Sahu, presided over the function and informed about the purpose of the programme, while the director of the institution, Sarita Sahu, read out the annual report and presented the pride and glory of the institution to the guests. On this occasion, like in the previous years, this year also, eminent personalities of various levels such as musical instrument master Shankarshan Patra, chess coach Vishnu Prasad Purohit and retired Hindi teacher Ramesh Chandra Sahu were felicitated by the guests by presenting mementos.
Similarly, this year’s best student was Riya Sahu, best collaborative student was Sivhangini Pradhan and Sonalika Sahu was awarded for 100 percent presentation. The guests also awarded the contestants who performed well in various competitions. Later, this year, three administrators (admins) of the “Market Update” WhatsApp group, K. Ravi Kumar, Tapan Kumar Sahu and A. Susman, were awarded certificates. Among others, Ashok Kumar Sahu, President of Ganjam Zilla Tailik Vaishya Samaj, Berhampur, Secretary Kirtan Sahu, Rabindra Kumar Sahu, BeMC Corporator Sabita Sahu, Abhinav Sahu, Binod Kumar Sahu, Vijay Kumar Sahu, Prashant Sahu, Madhusudan Sahu While Congratulating on the stage Felicitated to the Founder of the organisation Mr. Surjya Narayan Sahu with flower boque and garlanding with Cloth to encourage him. At the end of the assembly, Co-Director Dr. Shobhana Sahu proposed a vote of thanks to the participants, while Co-Directors Shivani Mahakund and Santoshi Sahu conducted the assembly. Co-Directors Ar. Sanchita Sahu and Shri Lalita managed the stage. Divyansh Sahu, Deepika Behera, Kabita Sethi and Shikha Swain and other staff members contributed significantly in the organization of the event. Finally, an interesting cultural program was Presented by the students.
